Who Am I ?

• My name is Mary. I'm a lady.
• I'm a 2nd year Bachelor of Liberal Studies student.
• I'm an artist. I sew, knit, paint, decoupage, and do many other artistic things using a variety of mediums and art supplies.
• I am dog lover. My best buds are my dogs.
• I am a person with a disabilities (Cerebral palsy, Attention Deficit/ Hyper Activity disorder, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, and Osteoarthritis).
• I am person with a mental illness. I have General Anxiety Disorder.
• I am me, a person who deserves to be treated with honor, respect and dignity.
  
  

 Who I am not?

I am not a mistake.
I am not retarded.
I am not stupid.

I am not someone who needs to be in a daycare.

I am not a burden.

I am not invisible.
I'm not an alien who should be in another country or another planet.

I am not the labels society places upon me (retard, burden, stupid etc..)

I wish society wouldn't define me. I want to define me. I do define me.
